Do Mormons Believe In Jesus Christ?

Do Mormons believe in Jesus? Are Mormons Christians? A lot of people don't believe that Mormons are Christians. The full name of the church is "The church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Coming from a Mormon background, this is a little bit hard for me to understand why some people don't understand this. My whole life, I've been taught about the importance of the Savior. As I have read the New Testament, the Old Testament, and the Book of Mormon, I learned more about Jesus Christ and his gospel every time.
In my family however, there are a lot of missionaries that dedicated two years of their life to serving Jesus Christ. My sister served her mission in the Philippines. She taught people in the language of Cebuano about Jesus Christ and about His gospel. I have a brother that served in Japan on a mission, who also made the same sacrifice, serving a mission at his own expense to teach people in Japan about Jesus Christ. I served a two-year mission in Russia, which was extremely difficult, but I I learned to trust in the Lord, and I have learned that our sacrifices are what bring us closer to him . Also my father, my older sister, add my younger brother served in Chile. In my immediate family, this means that we have dedicated almost 12 years of our lives exclusively to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Do Mormons Believe in Jesus?
Now, I am starting a website that is completely dedicated to answering the question as to whether or not Mormons are Christians and "Do Mormons believe in Jesus?" I'm really excited about this new website, because I feel it would give me a chance to express my beliefs to people who may not know a lot about Mormonism. A lot of people are a little bit skeptical when they hear about the book of Mormon. They think that maybe it is a book about a guy named Mormon, but in reality, it is a book about the Savior. The full title of the Book of Mormon is “The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ” that is precisely what it is. Anyone who reads the Book of Mormon will gain a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ and his Gospel. Mormons believe that the old and the New Testament both testify of Jesus Christ. That is why they were written. The Book of Mormon only adds to our understanding of the Savior and what He did in our behalf.
I love this Story!
So when people ask me, "Are Mormons Christians?" I usually turn the question back on them by saying, “Do you really want to know?” And it is pretty easy to get the answer. By reading the Book of Mormon or attending church services, you can know for yourself whether or not Mormons are Christians.

Yes, the Jesus Christ of the Mormon church is exactly the same one in the New Testament. I'm not trying to answer on behalf of the Hub author - just affirming the LDS church embraces the same beliefs about Jesus that are found in other churches
So you are saying that the Bible says Jesus and Lucifer are Brothers? Where do you find that? It is not in the Bible.. In fact the Bible says otherwise... Which means someone is lying.
Hi, I read your blog at aremormonschristians.net and enjoyed it very much. I couldn't, however, share them on social sites (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and StumbleUpon). It would be nice if these icons could be added. thx

Christians can't even decide on who is "Christian." That's why there are over 33,000 different Protestant denominations(most under the umbrella of the major ones) and even the Catholic Church is split into Roman and various Eastern Orthodox branches. So, it shouldn't bother any believer what other believers think. I speak as an ex-believer(Fundamentalist Baptist)and the widespread disagreement among Christians on points of doctrine is one of the many things that nudged me out the door.
